An affiliate program is a marketing program that allows a person (an affiliate) to receive a commission for generating sales for a company.
How does your affiliate program work?
As an affiliate, you place specially generated links in your blog posts, social media posts, emails, etc. These links drive traffic to our website. When a reader clicks your link and makes a purchase on our site, we pay you a commission for that sale. We provide you with banners, text links, and other marketing materials that you can use to promote our products on your site, blog, or social media platform.
How do you track sales that come from my referrals?
When you sign up, you’ll be given a unique affiliate code. All graphic and text links provided to you will link to your affiliate account. Your affiliate links allow our affiliate software to track all the traffic coming from your site.
We maintain a 365-day “cookie.” That means that if you were the first person to refer a customer to the Kirkwood EducationOnline.com website, you will be the referring affiliate for the next 365 days. Any purchase your visitor makes on our website during that 365-day window will result in a commission for you! Even if your visitor has clicked other affiliate links!
What is the commission rate and how will I be paid?
Kirkwood EducationOnline.com offers a 20% commission on all purchases made through your unique affiliate link. Affiliates are paid monthly via Paypal when the commission balance reaches a threshold of $50. If an affiliate decides to leave the affiliate program and has less than $50 in outstanding approved commissions, the commissions will be forfeited. Upon request, the outstanding commission amount will be applied as HomeschoolGoodies.com store credit.
How do I track my affiliate activity?
Our affiliate software provides you with an affiliate dashboard that makes it easy for you to check your sales, commissions, and payments twenty-four hours a day.
Who can become an affiliate?
As a company, we don’t just sell products; our goal is to help homeschool parents. We are looking for affiliates who love our products and are passionate about sharing their experience with others. We are also looking for affiliates whose web presence demonstrates significant reach in one or more of the following niche markets: Christian homeschool, special needs, preschool-elementary level, and/or Christian Parenting. The affiliate’s reach within these communities may come from a blog or website, social media platforms, emails, support groups, and more. We are not looking for affiliates whose blogs or websites contain a large number of random ads and links without context.
How can I become an affiliate?
It’s easy! Just fill out the registration form and log into your affiliate dashboard to get access to everything you need to start promoting Kirkwood EducationOnline.com on your blog, website, social media platforms, email, etc.
Can I use my affiliate link to earn on my own purchases?
No. For a number of reasons, our user agreement prohibits affiliates from earning commissions on their own personal purchases. Please see our Terms and Conditions for more information.
